Sales personnel who work outside of the office do not need to come to the office at the beginning and end of each day to use the office computer. Using the TrackUrs system they can report their work hours using an external computer.
Additionally, the employer can update the employees work hours in cases where the employee forgot to enter start or end of work times or they want to update employee absence (like sick leave or vacation) or if the employees computer has malfunctioned.
